Electromechanical Dynamic Testing Machine


 

 

The EP series electromechanical linear dynamic testing machines, based on linear motor technology, are designed to test a wide range of materials and components in both dynamic and static modes. 

 

They are particularly suitable for applications where clean, oil-free, and quiet drive technology is preferred, such as in the plastics, aerospace, and medical industries, with a maximum testing frequency of up to 200 Hz.

 

All modifications made to our dynamic and fatigue testing systems are designed to ensure full customer confidence in their performance during high- and low-cycle fatigue testing, crack initiation and growth analysis, and other types of tests.

 

 

EP Series Features

  •  Robust bench-mounted or floor-standing design with adjustable crosshead, offering high stiffness, mechanical strength, and durability, ensuring 100% repeatability of results, even in compact installations, with oil-free and quiet drive technology
    • High dynamic performance at frequencies up to 200 Hz
    • Digitally feedback-controlled cooling system for the linear drive
    • Suitable for testing according to standards such as ASTM E466, ASTM E399, ASTM E606, ASTM E647, ISO 12106, DIN 50100, ISO 18489, ASTM F2193, ISO 14801, ASTM F1798, ASTM F1717, and others
    • Mechanical or fully electric crosshead adjustment, including process monitoring
    • Integrated T-slot plate with a special suspension system capable of absorbing up to 95% of machine vibrations
    • Guaranteed coaxial alignment in accordance with ASTM E1012
    • Expandable with a torsion system depending on frequency and number of cycles
    • Test control via electrodynamic linear motor with force and position closed-loop control
    • Test & Motion – DYNPACK materials testing software providing complete test control and evaluation
    • Load cell mounted on the upper crosshead, operating in accuracy classes according to EN ISO 7500-1 and ASTM E4
    • Compliance with all relevant CE directives for machinery and equipment, including safety functions according to EN ISO 13850-SIL 1/PL
    • Controlled by EDCi series measurement and control electronics with a sampling rate of 10 kHz
    • Integration of special grips for axial-torsional testing or various fixtures according to standards
    • High-precision testing with temperature chambers or high-temperature furnaces
