Horizontal Rotary Torsion Testing Machines
The KM.4 series electromechanical horizontal rotary torsion testing machines, available in bench-mounted or floor-standing designs with torque capacities of up to 5,000 Nm, are primarily designed for torque measurement at constant or variable speeds on specimens, individual components, and complete products.
.
Estas máquinas son idóneas para investigación y desarrollo, control de calidad rutinario en laboratorios y operaciones, así como para líneas de montaje y prueba semiautomáticas.
.
LABORTECH machines are characterized by high test frame stiffness, as well as excellent speed and measurement accuracy in semi-automatic operation.
Key Features of the KM.4 Series:
.
-
- Robust horizontal modular frame design with high mechanical strength and durability
- Exceptionally high stiffness and mechanical resistance combined with excellent ergonomics
- Torsion mechanism integrated on the left side of the machine
- Dynamic AC servo drive with continuous speed control via inverter or servo controller
- Compliance with all relevant CE directives for machinery and equipment, operating in accordance with the latest safety functions per EN ISO 13850:2015
- Basic machine control via SIEMENS PLC with integrated LCD touchscreen and FAROTest software (base version), or an advanced FULL version with EDCi measurement and control electronics
- Sampling rates of 2.5 or 10 kHz with an analog signal resolution of ±250,000 divisions (20 ms)
- Complete KMTest software for torsion testing evaluation and control (BASIC – Module R), or as an extension of FAROTest software
- Protective safety enclosures made of ITEM profiles and high-safety polycarbonate in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1/2, or safety barriers
- Machine control and configuration via LCD touchscreen interface
- Wide range of accessories: test mandrels, fixtures, grips, etc.
The KM.4 horizontal rotary torsion series is ideal for static testing of:
- Plastics
- Steel wire torsion testing under simple torsion conditions according to ISO 7800, DIN 6499, and GOST 1545-80
- Metallic materials (e.g., torsion testing of wires and cables according to EN 2002-13)
- Medical technology products
- Fasteners and connectors
- Engine drive shafts
- Engine bearings
