Impact test is to determine an object’s ability to resist high-rate impact.

Impact resistance is one of the most important properties for a product designer. Basically, there are two kinds of testers for impact resistance test:

  • free-falling dart impact tester
  • pendulum impact tester, conforming to different international standards
